Awaken your passion. Let the passion be proven.
Mu Alpha Theta is one of the most prestigious mathematics honor societies with chapters all around the world. In this society, members will have the opportunity to participate in international math contests sponsored by Mu Alpha Theta, inter-ISG math contests, host a contest for DEMS students, and lastly be given the opportunity to take part in the American Math Contest (AMC) for the first time in Saudi Arabia, which we are especially excited to announce, for it may become a critical component of the application to your dream universities such as MIT and CALTECH.
Mu Alpha Theta DHS Chapter is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. It is co-sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC).
We believe that the Mu Alpha Theta DHS chapter will greatly benefit the student community at DHS by helping them strengthen and implement their passion for mathematics not only as a subject but also as a field of study.
